Why we do it this way
The car is already on the lift.
An oil change takes a few minutes. Your vehicle being up in the air, with someone underneath it who knows what they are looking at — that is the valuable part, and most shops throw it away.
So we use it. Twenty-nine checks on the things that leave people stranded: brakes, belts, hoses, fluids, tires, lights and leaks. If something is wearing, you hear about it while it is still cheap. If everything is fine, you hear that too.
No charge, no obligation, and no work happens without your say-so.
